Dumped Ducks

I live in southern Illinois and there are some dumped Ducks at a local lake. Is there anyone in southern Illinois that can help? I'll catch and transport. I'd keep them for myself, but I don't have a coop or a fence and can't afford either of those things right now. I tried to do a fundraiser, but no one was interested in contributing and everyone thinks I'm crazy and/or stupid, and doing something illegal.

The only crazy / stupid thing is choosing to dump the ducks.. poor guys. It’s not illegal to rescue them. You could post in your state thread as well, might find more people that way. I wish you great luck https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/illinois.37/page-1816
