Dumped Muscovies!!! **Update Pg2**

I was going to do some calling around to see if there were any palces that were interested in helping or had any other suggestions. The park & the game guy said the had it set up with a guy in the past for him to come and trap the ducks and then take them home to his farm. The guy got older i guess though and he couldnt do it anymore.

They have signs up everywhere to not feed the ducks and not dump ducks but of course/obviously no one minds them. But they still complain when one of the birds "bites" them or their kids when they run out of bread! For a while now, we have been considering the idea of doing some paperwork and such to get a waterfowl & farm animal rescue going. Just have a lot that needs to eb done here before we can get to that real point though so it wont be soon.

Is there anyway you could put up a sign saying you will take the domestics people are dumping? Would save you having to catch them anyways......Wish I was closer, I would love some more ducks!

they r all cute and adorable and the people that drop them there should go to jail!! all them males makin me think that someone had to many males and just dumped them off there

I was considering it but I will have to talk to someone with the Parks & Rec or the city to make sure it would eb okay first, since I would have to put up multiple signs as it is a large pond with multiple entrances.

We can't take any more ducks permanently but if you need a foster home we might be able to help out. Let me know.

I would love to set up a rescue, but I have no land to put the ducks (plus allergies). Good luck with getting yours together.
