This handsome boy showed up a few days ago in the woods behind our fenced chicken yard. We finally caught him today.
His feet are a MESS! And I suspect other injuries. He is TERRIFIED of the sound of a car. We cannot keep him as we have a happy, healthy, one rooster flock.
We have him in a large dog crate in our garage with straw, food, and water. He is safe. His eyes are clear, no nasal discharge, breathing not labored. He is calm when held.
But... my question is 2 fold. Do you know of a rescue? And what can be done to stabilize his health? Or, should I put him down?
