Thanks! I dislike dumpers too but am so glad for the kindness of others; especially here on BYC. I am glad all is well so far, those puppies broke my heart and now I can rest easy knowing they have a chance.

about 15 years ago i was working for my local equine clinic and one of our doctors was gone on a road call to a local farm. as she was getting ready to leave she noticed in a trash bin by their barn that there was a day old kitten still not dried off yet. someone confessed that they had thrown it in there but they thought it was a rat that had been killed by one of the horses. the moma kitty apparently left the kitten and didn't return.

she grabbed it and brought it back to the clinic where one of the techs took it home and kept it for many years.

it is good to hear that the puppies have a place to help them thrive! i hope they get that....
