We have build our coop out of reclaimed wood from a remodel at our work and dumpster diving at construction sites in out area the only things we have had to buy were 4-4x8 post and 1 sheet of plywood we found scrap ply wood but it was in so many different shapes it was a bit like a puzzle and we got frustrated but we are using it to build our nest box's,oh and 2 3x8 pieces of metal roofing, a door from habitat for humanity and of course the hardware cloth.

We are about 90% done and have spent about $175 for a 5x6 coop strange size but when your using recycled material you have to go with it lol..Your coop is looking great I love to see people reusing things that would other wise end up in the land fill way to go!!

Don't forget to look in construction dumpsters ,landfills and such we live in a wasteful society ain't it great for us scavengers .........

Free coop windows. I have no use for them so they will stay. But this is just another great find.
