Nice, I have to admit I'm afraid of asking stores for anything. I will have to work up my courage to ask a couple local stores for their excess pallets!

Hi if you have feed stores or drive and find one the have good heavy ones
They always have them here I buy good ones $ 1.40 each or if one board is cracked or broken they are stacked behind the store they are free. Come spring there are never any there.
What will you do with then
Check out building with pallets.
I have seen chickeh house. Fence sheads all built with them

Oh so my latest favorite thing was from yahoo freecycle group. Rabbit cage FREE! Score, not on ya'lls level but I'm happy. 

Amything that is free is on everyone's level. Doesn't matter - big or small. Free is Free.

Don't be afraid. I am not ashamed or embarrassed to ask anyone for anything. That is how I get A LOT Of stuff. The only thing they can tell you is no and there will be nothing lost. You never know until you ask them. You will be surprised.

I WORK in a store people ask for a lot of stuff, but it is still amazing what we throw out. If you need some small shelving units (like the ones with a company name on it like coke wonder bread etc) they are often tossed out. esp. if they are plastic (people usually scrap the metal ones and have a list of people wanting the scrap) also some wood shelving is thrown out occasionally the few times we get a wood unit that is no longer wanted most could be used indoors, but not outside (at least for long) because many are made out of particle board, but a shelf or work table is a shelf or work table right?

Big garage saling event in Oklahoma. I am very excited for this.

So far my greatest things from Flea Markets/Garage Sales have been my collection of Hagan Renaker ceramic dogs. I ADORE those little things. So far I have the Doberman, husky, German Shepherd, three different cocker spaniels, the Dalmatian, the Labrador, the Scottish terrier, and a few others. I am very pleased with that collection. It has taken me 3 years to aquire all.

Got a nice trap for $5. I also found a couple nice hood ornaments. Lots of other stuff
