Dun/Khaki + Chocolate

Does anyone know if someone has combined dun/khaki and chocolate in one bird? I am wondering how this would look. I am assuming that since chocolate and 1 copy of dun both make a dark brown bird, that combined they might make a nice medium chocolate tone? Or maybe it would look more like 2 copies of dun (khaki).

Anyone seen this combination before and have photos??

It would certainly be worth a try, you probably wouldn't be able to do this with standard/showable birds but if you don't mind about showing them then just doing it for fun could be a cool breeding project! Henk's calculators say it should produce a fawn/khaki bird so I think your hypothosis of a medium brown would be correct or at least close to what could happen in real life : ) If you do attempt this please make a thread and show results!

I’m wondering if two doses of dun + chocolate would be a light tan/cream then since this is one dose of dun?

Homozygous Dun(I^d/I^d) Will make the Bird nearly white. This is a Khaki Sumatra Rooster

Yep, light beige is almost white.

Yes some breeders breed for beige because they find it attractive.
