Long story short, my flock was attacked this morning by a bunch of neighborhood dogs. Most were killed, some are fine and a few are injured. They have puncture wounds and spots where the dogs basically skinned them. They have been doctored up and are dong much better now, but I'm concerned about their open wounds getting infected. Would duramycin (Soluble powder in their water) help prevent infection? I've seen people use it for eye, sinus infections, intestinal diseases and such, but would it protect against this? If not (or even if so) what other anti infectives do you suggest?
