Duramycin headache

I was just on the website for Durmaycin figuring out the dosage and it says not to give to layers. Is that right. I got the suggestion from here. what do you guys recomend. My girls are having respiratory problems, help please.

It specifically says it can be used for chickens. The only thing that's inconvenient is that you need to throw out eggs from any treated hens for at least 2-3 weeks after treatment. Don't eat them, don't feed them to anyone or anything.

If I have 1 or 2 of the chickens out of 40 with symptoms, should I treat the whole flock or just get rid of the ones that have it?
