During winter, cleaning and refilling chickens water in home sink

I know exactly what goes on, I don't wash my chicken and eat chicken a lot. Don't ever go out to eat, ever wonder what happens in the kitchens during prep, before you get your nice meal at a restaurant.;)

I don't wash chicken I buy at the store, for over a decade, since I read or saw on TV that you shouldn't. It's much more flavorful and doesn't spread salmonella everywhere. I just cook till internal temp reaches 3 Kelvin. GC

Do you know that your unwashed chicken was bathed in bleach before it was packaged? Yummy.

I don't worry about germs. The more I'm exposed to them the more immunity I get.

Another thing. If anyone is worried about bringing a waterer inside to wash it in the sink, they should also be worried about bringing eggs into the kitchen. They enter this world from an orifice that is very close to poopy port.

I wash the dog bowl outside, swish the inside with a handful of leaves/straw (I had a brush but can't find it), then toss the water and rinse.
No soap/bleach.
I will do a bleach wash in the Spring and then again in the Fall right before Winter.

They would rather drink the nasty water left in the MUD. They did that after I gave them nice clean water......... after seeing that I stopped being picky

Right! They always go to town trying to drink any gross water I dump in the run before it soaks into the earth.

I’m not too fussy at the moment given one chicken is currently having to live in the hall and walks around the kitchen. I take care but when your cleaning up as much as we are you have to be pragmatic. However, we do wash our hands a lot, and I mean a lot!
