I don’t have an auto door (yet). The run seems predator proof. After dinner I go out with a flashlight check that all seven are on the roost. Visually inspect the perimeter. Collect any eggs. I should say that when the pullets first went out to their coop (May 2017), I saw a fox snooping after first light around the coop and run. If I do an auto open door, it will be for the few days I sleep late or go away.
