Aww mine peck too, but they gentle. I dont think there vision is very good, they always try to eat my freckles

My girls got into my burn pile last evening and took baths in the ashes. We haven't burned in weeks, so there's no threat of coals being hot. Is it ok for them to bathe in the ashes or should I try to keep them out of it?
