Dust Bath

If they are that big, I'm sure they bathe. Do they smell earthy? Notice any dirt holes or in leaves? A cat litter box w/dirt and DE mixed is a good dust bath mix.

Thanks for the advice on the DE dusting. I have a powder container almost empty I think I'll try.

My first flock started at about 3 weeks when i moved them into their peep pen lined with pine sawdust from a guy we know who owns a saw mill. I thought they were having seizures!! My nuggets now are about 4 weeks and Just had their first REAL dust baths 2 days ago that lasted nearly an hour! Was funny to watch and they kept wearing themselves out flopping all over the place, falling on their sides with legs stretched, on their backs flinging sand everywhere!!!! They are suprisingly comical animals i'm finding.
