Dust baths?

I live in an area that has alot of clay. What can I put in bins or on the ground for my chicks to roll around in?

I've heard of people using wood ash and DE.

We also live in a very heavy clay area. I gave mine a sandbox...with playground sand. They also have a large pile of AG lime...left over from putting thier floor in.
