My splash dutch, Houdinni hatched 6 chicks with my Buff laced Polish July 22nd. Houdinni and Daisy are such good mothers .

Just posted a few pics of my Dutch Bantam chicks. Had 1 hatch in April and 3 hatched last week. Our Roo is LB, 1 LB Hen, 1 Splash Hen, and 1 BLB Hen who is very camera Shy )

Just had 4 Blue partridge Dutch hatch out on day 19,,anyone know if this is typical of this breed????

I have had my CLBs be pipped as I was removing eggs from the turner on day 18.

These are two of the chicks I just hatched from Blue partridge eggs, they are so different. Can anybody tell me if this is a gender difference or what?
I am hoping it is male/female that would be awesome

With Blue x Blue you have a 25% chance of a splash.

No idea, its just like sexing any other bantam....you can try with the spreading the wings method but that is only somewhat accurate up to 3 days after hatch(with standard size), if you miss that window then you gotta wait til the combs start to turn red and grow....maybe a couple months old by then to be sure
