DW Gamefowl

To Derrick, aka DW Gamefowl - I apologize for the hijack. BYC is generally not like this.
The point isn’t to hijack anything. It’s a forum to learn about chickens. If you read back a few posts there’s a person that didn’t know the difference between OEGB and gamefowl. Now he does. Not everyone knows the difference and a little information can help someone so they don’t order the wrong chicks or buy the wrong chickens thinking they can be kept the same way. It’s being helpful regardless of how you see it. Maybe you think they’re the same and didn’t know the difference?🤷🏼‍♂️

Had to break my 'Ignore' function to reply. This is a welcoming forum for newcomers. I realize you are very likely unaware of that function here at BYC. Cute little slam at what I might know or not know. The measure of true intelligence is knowing your limitations.

I’m very aware of the people who pretend to know much more than they actually do. Again reread the thread and you’ll see the individual who didn’t know the difference between the two types of birds and then learned the difference. The names can be confusing to newcomers and I’ve seen it asked many times in the past. Try again. 🙄

My name is Derrick I live in Madison Alabama I raise old English game bantams for show and I have been raising them for two years now.

:welcome

A hearty WELCOME!
I think OEGB are wonderful birds. I would love to see pics anytime you want to share them.

I certainly hope to see you around in the threads.
