Dyed my ee :p <-----> pics on post #8 and #21 <---- New

Well I have a 11 week old ee cockeral... He was a boreing white sooo I poured green and yellow food dye into a bucket and added water. I dunked him into the bucket a few times. Now he's a cool yellow green color!! I'll get some pics up!

Was this wrong ?????

Depends...on if he dies or not. I don't think it's wrong to dye one of your own chicks as long as you plan on raising them to live out their days in your good care.

Did you dunk it completely under? I hope it didn't aspirate any of the liquid! Pictures please

I don't think it is wrong at all. Food coloring is non-toxic, and I get it all over me every Easter. Do people bathe their chickens for show? Yes, so what is different about swishing him into some water?????
