Since I will have beautiful aqua colored eggs, bluish green eggs with speckles and pinkish eggs, I won't have to dye many eggs but my two yr. old grandson will want to dye some... We will make natural dyes and dye my girls eggs EVEN tho they are brown and light brown eggs.. Anyone have pictures of brown eggs that they have dyed? What have you used as dyes?? Did they work or would you not do it again?? Thank you...Dixie

Last easter people had lots of pics of dyed eggs.. maybe try a search? Good luck!

thanks Redhen! I had typed Easter in the search box and thousands of 'hit' of Easter Eggers... DUH! I typed in dyed eggs and it popped up....

My grandparents dyed brown eggs for years -- the colors turn out a little deeper, a little richer than white eggs. And yellow doesn't work well at all XD Just about everything else does, though.
