I found my sick chick belly up but still breathing in the corner of the box a few minutes ago. Managed to get her to drink some warm sugar water after a few minutes following advice on my last post here. Conditions have changed since then- she was better for most of the day, then got worse.
She's laying with her wings splayed, head down, and doesn't seem like she's able to walk. She took a few steps in my lap, but laid back down pretty quickly. She also pooped, but it was insanely runny. Fluffed up feathers, too. I thought it was cocci, but I've now been told she's too young for that (somewhere under a week old, I'm thinking five days at the oldest and three at the youngest).
I'm not sure what to do for her. It's too late now to go out and get any medications and I don't have vets that see chickens in my area.
Does anyone know what might be going on or how to save her? For now I'm checking on her every 10-15 minutes and trying to get her to eat and drink.
Edit: After watching her for a while I think she may have just knocked herself over somehow and gotten stuck. I still have no clue why she's this weak though. None of the other 10 chicks I have are having any problems.
