Someone please help! I just picked up a bunch more chicks yesterday they are few days to a week old. One suddenly a hour ago i walked in and she was lying on ground while all the others were stomping around her. I picked her up immediately held her close she was moving at all really then i calmed the F*ck down enough to get it together and remembered reading about the homemade adrenaline boost(basically) got her to drink that she is opening her eyes here and there will make a few peeps but what do i do?!! How often to i get her to drink this stuff etc

What is the homemade adrenaline boost? What's the recipe or a link to it.

I would get drops of fluid into her fairly frequently.

More info if you can please - photos are always welcome.
Where are the chicks housed, what is the temperature on the cool and warm side, is the chick pooping, what do you feed?

So it’s basically adrenaline shot. To give the boost to wake them up if they’re lethargic. Sugar water mixture until i can get to feed store tomorrow am. They’re in a little tote just like i had my chicks last year. Have them on this right now(heat source attached below) going to post pic of her. This is what she looks like now very wobbly can’t stand well. But she was laid out stretched out completely on her side. Like no sign of life at all.

Attached another pic I just took of her. She doesn’t have enough strength to flip herself back up right if i lay her to her side she’ll flop a sec then just lay. If i sit her up now tho she’s wobbling but she will stand up. She’s peeping now when i move her. I took her out from the rest of them abd have her in my hoody pocket with her head out a tiny bit and i have blanket over us.

Try giving her some vitamin supplements

I don’t have really any of that right now and no stores are opened here until 7:30-8:30 tomorrow am. What kind of vitamin supplements? Rn i only have their medicated chick feed and that sugar water booster until i can go tomorrow and get packets to add to their water.

Were they getting close enough to the pad? It sounds like they might have gotten chilled. If you have a place where you can get it nice and warm (say 90-95 degrees), I'd put them there and see if they perk up.

I can try it! I have them same set up as last years chicks and they did awesome no problems and our garage is very well insulted now. I’m going to switch out a hotter voltage bulb and stick them in smaller part of garage where we have space heater. Maybe with all that it’ll be ok.

Sounds like a plan. Just make sure there's an area of the brooder that the chicks can go to that isn't as hot in case they need to.

Ya my chick has been kinda like that for the past couple days. Then she died. But she had been at the post office over night with like two hundred other chicks. Not saying your chick is going to die. You rae doing a great job. Keep doing what your doing and get that stuff. I think she will live.
