Dying chicken with breathing problem.

It's quite easy and you get results it's quickly! I used WADDLE. I learned that she had both MG and MS. Now I need to decide what to do with my other 3, as they will all be carriers for life and must be a closed flock.

I have a ? Within 10 months I have lost 3 hens, the same way. They seem unable to move. 2 of them had laid an egg that the shell was soft. Seemed to be breathing harder, but beak is not open. Any idea what can be a cause if this? Note: they were gine the day before. Eating and seemed fine.

I am so sorry your birds aren't well.
Do you happen to live in the United States?

I am hoping someone has had some similar problems with their chickens. We adopted these birds 10 months ago. They were aprox 3 months old. We bought a house 8 months ago. Since we have been here, we lost 3 hens. 1st died a little over a month of us moving here. 2nd died aprox 2 months later. Now #3 died 4 months after #2. We live in Wisconsin, winter was long and t bhb e girls chose not to want to go outside. Preferred the warm coop. They started going out again about a month ago. Could there be something in the soil they scratch in cause their deaths? They all looked like they were laying their egg. 2 did before they died. Seemed like they were unable to move. Just their head. I hope someone has some advice - PLEASE 😢

If you are in the US, I highly recommend that you call your state department of agriculture and speak with a veterinarian to get a necropsy performed and tested for disease. It’s the best accurate way to know why your birds are dying and what caused it.
