dying chook coulors ( with food dye )

No paint. The paint will make her feathers stiff and stick together and she won't be able to preen properly.

actually I went and asked a chicken breeder and professional coloured and shower and she said it would be fine it would do no harm to the bird or its feathers in any way

Ok so I've now dyed her head to toe in rainbow colours but only her top feathers now will this stay permanent
