e suse of rain barrel for water

i just hooked up a rain barrel to my waterer and want to know if anyone else uses rain barrels for water for their chickens.

Do not use one here - but we only get 7" of precipe per year and most falls as snow. Hope it works well for you.

I've used rainwater for years. Works great.
My collection containers aren't connected to the waterers though.
