Each corn kernel stolen from ground

I have a similar problem with peas and beans. It's not a bird. I think it's a vole. It goes right down the row underground and eats the seeds.

Oh no!!! I would be so mad if something got my green beans. This is only our 2nd year with a vegetable garden and the green beans were by far our most successful crop last year.

Too bad the hawks and owls won't hunt the voles!

My nemesis on those is a beetle type thing. Eats them all unless I sprout and transplant.
