So we were free ranging our chickens for a bit today, we have quite a few predators in the area so we dont do it for long or without watching them. I made the mistake of watching them from too far away and an eagle swooped down and tried to make off with one of our chickens. She is mostly unscathed with just a small scratch on her neck and a deeper one under her eye. I cleaned both of those with water and an antiseptic. Now I'm just wondering about how to tell if she is going into shock and what to do about it.

Keep her in a dark, quiet and warm area over night, give her warm water with a little sugar and a pinch of salt to stabilize her.
The eagle would have tried to nab her no matter how close you where, glad she's ok.
Thank you so much for the advice!
Thats good to know. My husband is a bit huffy that I was so far away from them haha.
