A flock of five owls flew over the open tundra, the two largest at the front, followed by two smaller, younger owls and an elderly female who looked to be having trouble keeping up to the rest.

Lyra muttered to herself as she climbed out of the icy water, shaking herself. "Well that was a huge success." She turned her head to look to see if the hare had ran off. It had.

The owls flew over her, filling the air with the sound of wingbeats for a few seconds, then they were disappearing into the horizon.

Klide, seeing the flock of owls, decided that he would follow them. He flew as fast as he could through the dry, chilly air.

"We've got a follower" Cody called to the front.

Marella turned her head and looked at the stranger following them "We'll wait and see if he's friend or foe, he doesn't pose a threat while he's alone"

Vlascar looked up at the owls. Boring. He flopped his way into the water, and swam under the flock of owls. He then busted through the ice, and looked up at them.
