What can you tell me about them? I bought 5 chicks that supposedly came from them. Is there any way to email them? I would love picture of their breeders to see how the chicks may turn out.
Am I missing something here? I couldn't find a price list anywhere on their site. Did you call and order? Looks like you'll have to call again to get their picts. If you don't mind me asking, what caused you to order from them instead of another hatchery. Just wondering.
Ask away, NO PROBLEM. I didn't order from them. At the wolfe lake swap meet a guy had partridge bantam wyandotte chicks and he said they came from this hatchery. He actually called them partridge rock wyandotte banties. I bought 5 figuring if they weren't I've lost money before and will again.........I've been looking for that breed for over 2 years--it's the only breed my daughter likes and I lost my 2 hens and only have lonely rooster left. So if I could email them, I could find out if they truly had them and maybe get a picture of the breeders..... I email but don't fax or phone much.
How did your chicks turn out? Their birds swept our County fair last year, an apa judge owns and opperates the hatchery, most of his birds are good quality, much better than most commerical hatcheries. I dont think they want to make their hatchery as commercal as others, they hatch for quality, not quantity. They run out of a small garage with old Robinson Incubators, 89 year old bussiness. i think thats why they dont have pictures of birds on the webs site, they dont ave an e-amil address either so maybe they just dont really get into the technology thing, they are an older couple. Got off topic, but i just got birds again from them today and was just wondering how yours turned out?
I've dealt with them once and felt they were a great, honest business and truly enjoyed talking with their customer. I believe it is family owned and small. Back then they didn't even have a web site and I stumbled across a brochure, which was how I found them. They were accurate with sexing too for anyone interested in day olds and I believe their minimum order (at that time) was 15 - not sure if that changed.
The is no minimum order if you pick them up, just a $5 odd lot charge. They will ship just a few standard chicks if you talk to them about it. I really like them and would deffinitly use them again.
