Eagle Nest Poultry?

We bought 10 chicks in March from Eagles Nest to add to our backyard flock. All the chicks are thriving and beautiful. We ordered 8 sexed and two banties. This weekend two of our sexed birds started crowing. Overall we are very pleased with our birds but we live in town and can't keep roos. We are a little upset we have invested in these birds now and won't be getting eggs from them. I'm going to call the hatchery tomorrow. Do you think they will do anything to help us?

Theres some hatcheries (mypetchicken and meyer for sure) that give a refund on roos between a certain age range, for mypetchicken its 10-18 weeks. So check their website and find out their policy, or call them up. good luck

I ordered 10 Royal Palms and 6 BB Bronze turkeys from Eagles Nest last summer. Within a week 7 of the 10 palms were dead. When I finally got a hold of them (hey are very hard to get a hold of) they basically said it was all my fault. This is not my first time raising turkeys and I have never had that kind of mortality rate! of the 3 survivors 1 was not even a palm (probably bourbon red) and the other 2 were way undersized. I will never order from them again.

I have been getting chicks turkeys and guineas from Eagle Nest Poultry for years. Very nice people. Prices are very good. Foul I have bought from them are as good as any. They have always been healthy and grow into nice birds. If they dont answer phone leave message and they will call back. I would reccomend Eagles Nest to anyone.

I am a manger at a small local feed mill in Waterford Pa and I order all of out chicks thru the company! I called today and spoke with Kay about starting to place my orders! Very helpful , wonderful chicks , happy and healthy!

We have gotten all of our poultry from Eagle Nest. In fact, my daughter and I are heading there tomorrow to pick up turkeys and possibly some more Buffs!
