There were several voices, at least 7 were inside though it was impossible to tell precisely how many without looking.
"Shut up or I'll tear your ears off!" The tabby tom snarled after the kits didn't stop whimpering.

"We'll wait here" Sparrowtail whispered to his companions "They aren't in any real danger right now, and Icestar will be on her way."

A cat that was standing outside and was closest to them pricked his ears.
"Did you hear that?" He asked a nearby she-cat.

"No..." She replied.

"I think I heard a voice." He murmured.

"Well maybe you're hallucinating." She replied sarcastically, turning her nose up at him and padding inside the cave.

Sparrowtail shared a quick glance with Silverstream, then returned his attention to the cave below. Niether Clan cat moved a muscle.

The she-cat and tabby tom bickered for a few moments before the she-cat went back outside.
"Eat this." The tabby tom ordered to the kits.

Talon waited outside the cave. His pelt was very shiny, and almost looked white. His ears were pointed owards th entranc to the cave.
