Ear infection??

you dont further dilute it
dust everywhere in the run AFTER you remove all the bedding, spray perches/roosts etc

AND dust the bird or spray the bird

WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU DO THIS and try not to get it in their faces

Thanks. I bought dust for the bird. However I read above that you have to dilute it, so now I'm confused?

Also, I assume I need to remove the girls from the run (we are gonna see if it's in the run or not. The affected girl was in a separate area.)... if so, how long do we keep them away from the sprayed area?

Return the DE.
Spray the permethrin 10 everywhere in the coop and run and the birds too.

Let the spray settle for a few minutes and the birds can go right back in.

What is the exact name of the permethrin product you bought?

nope no diluting, maybe if you were using it in the garden you would
and just let the dust settle and throw them back in

Gordon's Permethrin 10. I got a quart

So I bought the liquid for the run and spray and the dust for the girls, especially since it's so close to her beak.

Or should I worry about dust being breathed in?

Are you referring to the DE dust?

If so..return it..it is trash.

I would use the spray for everything.
You can spray some on your hand and rub it on the areas close to their face.
