Early BIRD

HEY ALL !
ITS INTO DAY 17 AND JUST HAPPENED TO GO DOWN TO INCUBATOR,
AND ONE OF THE CHICKS PIPPED ! and is chipping up a storm !

Holy cow not even in Lock down yet what should I do !
I took them off turner and added water! first

But wondering if I should expect them all to hatch early,
There air sell's are good just checked them at 14 Days and they looked right on,
doing a dry hatch so my bator was at about 22% probably closer to 60 now !
crazy right ! anyone ever experience this , don't want the little guy to be think rapped !

Spit man, looks like your temp was just a tad high, or you've just got some precocious egglets. Either way, you've done what you need to do: remove the turner, and raise the humidity, sit back, and enjoy the show!!! I'd much rather have early hatching than late.

Just a question: are you sure you're counting your days right? If the eggs went in on a Wednesday, you should expect (maybe a hatch on Tuesday), most of your hatches on Wednesday, and a couple on Thursday.

Roger that ,they went in on a wed. Maybe it was Tuesday, Crazy !
Its totally got me messed up lol !

And my hatch's usually start day 19/ most chicks hatch day 20
But this one is way early, If intact they went in my temp must have been a little up !

Well I'll be posting the rest of hatch ! Hopefully I get a good outcome !

I think there are a few breeds of small chickens that hatch on day 19 (mille fleur comes to mind). What are you hatching?

update Chick hatched on its own on day 18 ! pipped on day 17 Hatched day 18 , healthy seems to have no issues.
clean Hatch , no others have pipped yet , is now day 19 ! has this ever happened to anyone else?

I've read of it happening before. Any chance that egg got sat on in the coop for a bit before being brought in?

Good question,
But I don't think so, got the eggs from friend, and they didn't go in bator till next day !
and basement is about 70.
