Early GLW roo?

I opened the door to the coop today and my GLW "pullet" got a whole bunch of red on her wattles out of NOWHERE. Early roo? Please say pullet, I dont think roos are allowed in my area

The comb wattles are the only real concern, everything else looks pretty pullet-ish to me...

Yeah, it's starting to look like a lil roo, you could wait a bit longer just to make sure. But chances are is that it's a roo.

Thanks for the feedback... is there anything we can do? We can’t keep roosters but would love to keep her... well, him. Do we need to cull or is there a place to give him away?

We’re having awful luck with our first set and this is just the nail in the coffin, sadly.

You could look for rescue groups on your local FB page.

I'd give it a couple more weeks. Wyandottes tend to color up and develop a bit earlier than other breeds and that one isn't screaming cockerel to me just yet.

Don't do anything yet, give it a few more weeks. I agree with @cstephens1987 glw sometimes pink up super early, so there's a huge possibility that this could still be a pullet
