Early Hatch

I was wondering if anyone else has silkies that seem to hatch early? I am on day 19 and so far I have three that have alreay pipped. I have only hatched out about two dozen in my bator so far but over half were a day or two early.

Sometimes the early hatch can be based on the temperature in the bator.

Do you have other breed eggs in the bator at the same time that are hatching on time?
If not, then it might be temperature.
If you do, then the early hatch can be attributed to some other factor.

I have hatched them with mutts before and the silkes did hatch early. Also those eggs were side by side in the bator. Also the eggs I hatched earlier were from my flock, all the same pair, and these are from a fellow BYC member. I am kind of happy theu like to come early.

i hatched two sets of silkie eggs, and both times i had them pip on day 18. regular eggs day 20 and after

My silkies normally pip on day 19 and hatch on day 20.
