I've got only one more egg pipped at this point. We'll see if we get anymore. Four out of 44 is really depressing

The chicks are starting to look cuter-- though they are definitely sparse on the feather side-- one of them (mutt) has the BEST feathers all over her legs

Hopefully we'll have more hatch...

I'm here to tell ya sticky chicks look bad for a while. You'll be suprised how much that little stuck down fluff covers up. They will probably look like regular chicks in a week or so.

I had to assist a very sticky chick today-- so we have one more survivor. Another egg has pipped and is zipping, so we may end up with 6 out of the 44 eggs... better than 4!
