Seriously though, I didn't know earwigs actually climb in your ears!

How did you know what it was, how did you get it out, and was it still alive? YUH-UCK!

Imagine meeting a big one face-to-face in the shower.
I had no idea it was there.. I was already in the water about ready to wash my hair and it was crawling around on the metal shower shelf holding some soap and my shower things. Right in my face. I screamed like crazy and went to the back of the tub and exited through the back too. I sprayed it with the shower hose and it fell to the bottom but it wouldn't fit through the drain, I turned the water off and attacked it with extra strength suave hairspray until it perished. I was screaming the whole time too, lol. I was afraid to use my own shower for about a week and I was using my mom's.

To this day I do not know how it got up so high...

OMG! it couldn't fit down the drain!?? That's a BIG bug! at least it wouldn't fit in the ear LOL

Ugh! Same thing happened to my mother only she had to have an ENT extract the earwig. Ewwww!!! Glad your daughter is feeling better.
