Hi all! New to BYC, recently got 6 chicks that were hatched by my daughter's kindergarten class. They are from a local farm with several breeds, so they are "mutts", I guess. Several colored Cochins, easter egger, and "?". We are having so much fun with them. 2 are roosters, which will have to go to my mom's place. We will be SO sad to see them go, as they are the prettiest ones. My dear husband made me this awesome coop. I posted a thread in the gender/breedID section with pics of my girls. Since they have such fabulous feathered legs and feet, we named them hobbit names: Bella Donna Danderfluff, Pippen Bracegirdle, Camilla Proudfoot, Sasafrass Gamgee, and Luthian (Lucy) Brandybuck (who had smooth legs, so we have her an elven name). Gotta rename the boys (Camilla and Bella Donna) soon.
