East Tennessee Swap Day

The sevierville tsc and co-op are just inside the city limits right on champman hwy. And close to hwy 66 for the counties north of us that would like to join.

I'm going to the one in Greenback tommarrow... but I'm up for organizing a new one... if it is announced on BYC it should bring in a whole different type of birds.

Just thinking outloud. There is alot of chicken people closer to Chattanooga. Seems like Chattanooga's craigslist and TN trader have a good chunck of chicken and poultry stuff.

Won't be able to go there again any time soon. DD has a band event today, a car wash fund-raiser tomorrow (Kroger in Seymour), and then we have a baby shower to go to, followed by DD going to a birthday party.
Sunday I will probably be collapsed in the yard with the peeps....

It would be fun to rotate locations, but we'd have to have members in those locations that could set it up. I'm not familiar with Chatt businesses to even know where a good place to hold it would be.

There is a feed store on middlebrook pike, if anybody can get there.

I would be able to get to Middlebrook on certain days and so long as it isn't super early.

And I didn't mean IN Chattanooga... that would be hectic... maybe more like Cleveland or Ooltawah. Just some ideas.

Whats the status on the chicken law in Knoxville currently? Seems like if it passes or has passed and chickens will be allowed soon, that would be a good time to have a "sale" or swap, within Knox. Could probably do well if you advertised well and had lots of female birds.

The law has passed, its justs in the last stage. Theres a TSC on Ashville hwy, Maynardville hwy(Halls) and they even have poultry auctions at the COOP in Halls I think on Sat. eve.....

The law in knoxville hasn't passed, so for now I'm an outaw. They do have auctions on asheville hwy. That might be a good place.
