Halo, please post your easter egger photos of eggs and hens and rooster.

Cannot wait to see them!!!!!

Happy New Year.

I just want to say that it makes me feel good that so many people are willing to step up and help when asked.

Sorry...I have no fertile eggs at the moment!!

I have blue, black, splash cochins or partridge cochins, OR I have EE's and Barred rocks which are all currently free ranging together at the moment but I do have blue eggs. You can have any you want for the cost of shipping.

What part of east Tn. do you live in? I live in Delano, near Benton in Polk Co. If you are close I will give you some eggs. Just let me know. I have many different breeds.

Send me your info and I will put you some eggs in the mail free of charge!!

ETA: All my eggs are pure and I have cochins, barred rock's , ee's and silkies!!

Was going to offer up a few free bantams eggs to you but looks like you have some prospects closer to you. If you still want a few to test shipped ones later then you can PM me.

I just want to thank everyone who responded to my message. I appreciate it so much. I am just amazed at all the responses and it means a lot to know there are so many here willing to help me out. Since wegotchickens is in my same county (Sevier County) I am accepting her offer since that will be the quickest and easiest way for me to get eggs in time for my granddaughter's birthday which is now only eight days away. But, while I spent a lot of time around chickens on my grandparents farm growing up now that I have made the decision to have my own it's nice to know that I will have all of you to depend on for help and advise. Thanks again for your offers and I really, really appreciate each and every one of them. :)

Looking forward to seeing you soon, GrannyPat!

Hey barnyard, are your cochins banties or standard?
I have a craving to hatch some little eggs

DD needs a new silkie, since her cochin roo may be traded in on a gorgeous EE roo a friend has (I hatched him out for her last fall).

I was going to e-mail you about those button quail eggs you offered... How much do think they'll cost to ship? And how much to add in some banty eggs?
If I'm going to get in trouble with DH, I may as well do it in a big way, right?
(He's trying to back out of the 1/1/9 agreement and make me wait until spring).

And this way I can share chicks with GrannyPat if her little bator poops out. You know I want to make everyone chicken-happy!!!

Not yet!

Georgie is way past old enough, at 30 weeks. Her little sis isn't laying either, at 27 weeks. They're making me crazy

But... TN is getting busy with the ladies, and they've started to cooperate. So

that they'll lay soon.

Wanna test hatch some for me barnyard? You'll fall in love. They are soooo sweet!
