Yes, they seem to call them a couple of different names, with different spellings...so what IS an EE? Is it a white chicken? My hens are brown/red, no white....
This should help....
Araucanas are the original blue egg bird. They're tail-less and have ear tufts. They lay blue eggs. They are hard to breed as a high percentage of the fertile eggs do not hatch. Araucana Breeders Club website for more info - araucana.net
Ameraucanas have tails and muffs, beards under their chins but no ear tufts. They're easier to breed and will breed true in several standardized colors. The Standard of Perfection for Ameraucanas state that only a blue egg color should be accepted. Ameraucana Breeders Club website for more info - ameraucana.org
Easter Eggers are any mixed breed chicken that lays a bluish or green egg - with or without a tail and with or without a beard or ear tufts. Most all hatchery birds are Easter Eggers. They often call them "Americanas" (note the mispelling) - but they're mixed breeds laying colored eggs.
