It is a reddish color and the middle one has a lighter red on its wings....does that always mean roo? I really hadn't paid much attention to their colors. Only checked out the combs....

Yes, red on the wings means boy. You can see this very well on my EE cockerel.
Can you post a few more, clearer pictures of your chicks?
That one does have a light pink comb and the middle one even lighter pink. I will try for more pics later.

Will the males pass on the colored egg gene. I will have to rehome them as I already have 3 roos
Those EE ones are definitely roos. From the picture your only girl is the one that is a dirty greyish with rose and white
That's what I was afraid of. I just talked to someone who will take the two. The trials of chicken wrangling, lol.
