We were gifted a couple eggs for a broody hen and we’re told the chicks should be Easter eggers. They are 7 weeks old. We are 99.9% certain one is a cockerel. The white and black one is the one we question. They are a beautiful bird. Behavior wise we think pullet. They also have a single comb, but it looks a little pink. I can’t tell if hackle feather are coming in… what do you guys think?

How old is it? And do you have another of the same breed to compare? It does look like it could be a Cockerel but that's hard to tell at young ages in most chicks

Oops. Missed the 7 weeks

To my untrained eye, it looks like a pullet. My EE cockerels had much larger single come and they were dark pink/light red at 7 weeks. They were much larger than my pullets and more erect in posture. The tail feathers are hard to see in the picture, but my two EE (looked like RIR) didn't get saddle feathers until later, but I had no doubt they were cockerels by 7 weeks. I would give it more time to develop. I am sure there are much better informed 😁 people here to give advise.
