WOW...so pretty...or handsomeI have a couple easter eggers, but this one is by far the prettiest so far at just 6 weeks old today. I'm worried this little chick; Sweetpea, might be a boy though from the coloring. But then, I'm use to just getting the normal partridge colors for EE and thats all i've ever seen for them before, so getting this splash of color is completely new to me.
if it's a he, then I'll have a hard choice once these chicks mature. I have a couple roosters in my little barnyard mix (1 other EE, a salmon favorelles that I'm pretty sure is a roo, and a jersey giant roo. 1 or 2 others i suspect also as roos)WOW...so pretty...or handsome. I'm getting 7 EE chicks at the end of June...and I'm hoping they mix the colors up!![]()

Grow them up and the 2 best roosters win their lives with our girls. :x
I'm afraid sweetpea is a cockerel, he already has ''rooster red'' patches coming in on his shoulders.

:/
He'll be a very handsome boy though.
I wish I could have about another dozen chickens. We're already over our technical limit for our city. The EEs are so beautiful!
