I've got 3 EE's, all 22wks old. Two of my girls started laying about 2wks ago and the other this week...I think. I can't be sure. They aren't all laying everyday yet. But I can see slight differences in their eggs. One of them lays a huge oblong blue green speckled egg, another a medium slightly more blue than green, and the third a medium mint green egg.
Good luck. It's like Christmas when they lay their first!

Yes, my EE's are 3 1/2 months old. Everyday with a bird is a holiday, but new never see before eggs, CHRISTMAS for sure.

my EE's are my first chickens and first live chick(now hens) i had ever seen lol but my first egg i pin holed blew yolk out rinsed and dried and clear nail polished it to save it lol

My 27+ week old EE, Ginger laid her first egg on the 27th!!


We are so excited that she finally laid. Had hoped she was a blue egger but this is such a lovely green



We are still waiting to for her cross beaked hatch mate, Chiquita, to lay.
