My 4 month old EE's (and some GL Weyandot

tes) - ordered all poulettes of a variety of breeds from Ideal, but 3 out of 25 turned out to be roosters. Right on the 90% accuracy for sexing - but I had only ordered 5 EE, which only leaves me 3 young green egg layers (hopefully).

They look pretty nice especially the hens. I will be ordering from Cackle Hatchery next month to get some EE's. Hopefully they will all be all hens. 95% accuracy

I am so egg-cited!! My little EE Bantam girl, Sugar, gave me a pretty blue and white speckled egg today.

She is only 21 weeks old tomorrow. The egg weighs 30 g, exactly half the size of my LF Marans dark brown egg.




This is Sugar in the back behind her sister Myst.
Hope to have 2 blue egg layers at work soon.

Still have a 10 month old LF EE that I am waiting for a blue or green egg.

I'm getting discouraged.... what is a average price to pay for a EE chick?

i have 4 ee at 35 weeks and they have been laying since October 2013.
I wonder why you all are no eggers?
I'm still getting at least a dozen or more eggs with no artificial light.
if they stop til spring...so be it
But so far all 15 are still laying

Some of mine stopped laying due to molting but now they are starting to lay again
