Is that the lavender? Is that a blue a her head and neck, what about her tail?she is not a high egg producer, but they are nice fat brown eggs and at least 4 times a week.. I have a Lavender Brahma as well.

she only lays on a full moon in the middle of a buffalo stampedeI have a white-laced red cornish like that too! When she does finally lay, she makes sure EVERYONE knows.

My Black Austrolorp/Orpington...whatever she actually is does that.
She raises such a ruckus when she lays an egg. Then the Sebrights start yelling back at her. I swear they are yelling at her to shut up and stop crying. I do voiceovers for them and my kids laugh at me.
Goes something like this...
Black Austrolorp::: "OMG! I laid an EGG!!! OMG! I laid an EGG!!! My butt HURTS!!! I laid an EGG!!!!! THIS is why I never lay EGGS! I wish I was a ROOSTER!!!"
Gold and Silver Sebrights: "SHUT UUUUUPPP!!! NOBODY CAAAAAARRREEEESSSSS!!! That you laid an EGG!!! We do it EVERY DAAAAAY! You never hear us COMPLAAAAAINE!"
