Easter Egger club!

Good idea on tractor coop. I'll keep that in mind if that is all we can legally do!
Personally, given the choice, I'd rather have chicken tractors than stationary coops. Our large, stationary coop and run serves its purpose, but when the chickens can't be let out to free range, it's the chickens in the tractor who have the best deal.
 
6.5 weeks. Do you think pullet?
OH. At 6.5 weeks, wait and see. Seems like my boys always have 3 rows and red up before they have feathers. The girls take forever and are ready to lay (except for 1 wyandotte that worried me until she laid an egg )

I agree. Our tractor is much more adaptable than the stationary coop. Regardless of the weather I can move it to a shady spot or a spot that is less windy.
