Easter Egger club!

For those of you who are discovering your pullets are Roos......we're the chicks you bought sexed or straight run? Just curious.

I'm getting 3 EE pullets and really don't want a roo. Two would be even worse. I understand the percentage of accuracy for sexing chicks is around 90%.

I bought 12 "pullets" and 1 ended up beinf a roo

Last year all pullets ordered all received, ordered 17 pullets and 1 roo, looks like 4 pullets at 6 weeks but could have more males. have two brahmas not feathered on backs yet. Yes different hatcheries.

Y'all have me worried now! I have 4 EE pullets and 4 straight run BOs and a red pullet. Looks like I have some BO Roos and I don't need any EE Roos!

I really hope to rehome any males I can with family members as long as they are not mean. My banty EE Lurch is very spunky and gets between the girls when they start to bicker. Fester the standard sits back and watches mostly. Gomez is my sleeper who hand feeds but just watches . I hope he won't become a problem. Herman I still am not sure if a male comb looks right but I can't get him/her near to look often.
