What active little tikes!

I picked up my 3 EE's today. They're to tiny! I'm letting them settle in right now, find their food and adjusting the temp of the brooder. I'll take pics tomorrow.
One is dark and very perky, the other two are brown/tan striped.

I'm so excited they're finally here! They traveled all the way from Hoovers Hatchery in Iowa to Connecticut. Long trip!

noooo.... I'm going to take more pics tonight! What about the attitude, curiosity , and being hyper? That means the feed store has sold me 2 roo so far instead of pullet. I already have a EE roo who is WONDERFUL !!! Definitely posting more pics of her/ him tonight!!!

We had this discussion on the Ameraucana board about the tails and the thought there was that the pullets got their tails in first. I speculated that I had 9 pullets and 6 roos. They are a month old now, and the red combs, so far, seem to support that notion. I probably will not know for another month or so, but right now.....I am of the opinion that pullets get their tails first. I have had chickens for about 13 years, got my first EEs last year and my first Ameraucanas this year so I am still learning. Angie16hearts, keep us informed and post pictures again so we can get more info to prove or disprove this thought.

Maybe she will lay olive eggs. It looks just like one of my blue copper marans except yours has the EE genes.

I do hope so but no matter what she gives me ill enjoy them she's converted my hubby!

This may help my EE Rooster had Noooo tail still has barely anything. I will post updated pics of him tomorrow .
