Easter Egger club!

The Easter Eggers that we kept have single combs so far - some of the ones that our friends got have pea/rose combs. Do you know if that means that we won't get blue eggs?

There is a linkage to pea comb but it is not ironclad.The blue egg gene can go with any comb but likes peacomb.

Soo, I don't actually have an EE, but end of March/early April I'm gonna get three new chicks. My one Barred Rock bantam died (we think she broke her neck, but don't know how) and my chickens are really torn up about. I have (well had) a four chicken flock, so they noticed it a lot. I think that chicks will help them and their owner!!

But, anyways, I'm planning on getting an EE, a BO, and another BR. Hope I can still join. Loving all the pictures!!!
