Easter Egger club!

Abby is a very pretty hen.

There are three breeds that lay colored eggs: Ameruacanas, Aruacanas, and Cream Legbars. Anything that lays colored eggs other than those three breeds is an EE. At nine months old, she already has her adult feathers in, she may change slightly everytime she molts, but she will probably stay that color for the rest of her life.

Also Isbar lay green eggs .

Have a funny for you all. My brother was talking to his dad about his EE starting laying and that she lays the cutest green eggs. His dad told him he shouldn't eat green eggs because that meant they were bad. Brother could NOT convince him that they were ok.

Know what the cross is here. I have some SLW I'm crossing with my AM roo next year and was curious. Have two cockerals from some BLW with lacing on their chests. Was looking for some ideas about the look of pullets tho.

What color variety is your rooster? If he's wheaten of buff, he will produce red sexlinked chicks with a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

My S-I-L said it was good we let him know the blue eggs were SUPPOSED to be blue otherwise he would've thrown 'em out

Hm. I just realized that Abigail's feathers turn an iridescent green when light hits them a certain way! Is there a specific feather color that iridescence falls under?
